A question I've been pondering recently. There was some monarchist feeling within Weimar Republic Germany after 1918, but a lot of it was hindered by the continued existence of Wilhelm II, who many were wary of. What would've changed if in January, 1932, Wilhelm II suffers a heart attack and dies, and therefore his son Wilhelm, Crown Prince of Germany is now the head of the Imperial family. What does this change for them, and for Germany, and for the allied perception of Germany?
