Princess Caroline of Ansbach received a proposal of marriage from the Archduke Charles (future Emperor Charles VI) but declined due to her unwillingness to convert to Catholism. However if Caroline had put her religious scruples aside and accepted the proposal, what Princess might the future George II have married instead?
