What if Charles VIII of France did not start Italian Wars and neither did his successors?

This means that Charles does not make a claim to the Kingdom of Naples (to which he had rather vague rights through his paternal grandmother) and his successor, Louis XII (if succession goes as in OTL) does not make claim to Milan (through Visconty connections).

France keeps out of Italy, there are no wars with Spain and HRE, no waste of the resources, etc. However, this does not exclude wars over the territories on the Northern and Eastern borders to which France may have claim (depending upon scenario the list may vary).

OTOH, Charles V (probably he is going to "happen") does not spend most of his reign and resources on fighting in Italy (even if he decides to grab some pieces of it), which may (or may not) change situation in HRE vs. the Protestants and in Hungary vs. the Ottomans.

2 main scenarios for France:

1st, Charles marries Mary, Duchess of Burgundy (daughter of Maximilian) and gets the Counties of Artois and Burgundy. Anne of Brittany marries Max with all possible implications and scenarios of Hapsburg-held Brittany. If he dies without an issue, Louis XII divorces and marries his widow.

2nd, as in OTL Charles marries Anne and so does Louis XII. Artois and Burgundy are in Hapsburg hands.
