WI: Zhukov dies at Khalkhin Gol

Say Zukhov consumes a bad bowl of borsch and dies of food poisoning in early August 1939. (Prior to the Battle of Khalkhin Gol)
What are the consequences for the Red Army during the remainder of the conflict with Japan, and subsequently Germany afterward?

Say a Japanese bomber drops a payload on the Soviet Armt Group command center on the eve of Khalkhin Gol, killing Zukhov in the process.

How? He was nowhere near the front and the Japanese were fighting defensively, while the Soviets had control of the air.

Fair. I was trying to research his movements during the skirmishes but couldn't find it. I'll amend the PoD but the idea still is he dies prior to main battle taking place.

That's always been a mystery to me, he'd been proven to be a victory winner but he was still executed months after Barbarossa began. I know he 'admitted' to being a German spy under torture, but I'm fairly sure similar 'confessions' were overlooked for other imprisoned officers.
Stalin wasn't really rational with all of his purging. It was the general situation at the time and Shtern wasn't the only guy that suffered.
