WI Zheng He expeditions continue after Yongle Emperor's death

In 1402 Yongle Emperor, the greatest Ming dynasty emperor, constructed a massive expeditionary fleet that made China the greatest power in East Asia, and it would have made China one of the greatest maratime powers in the world. However, the expeditions ended after his death. What would have happened if the next emperor, Hongxi Emperor, had kept the expeditions going? Could China have become a world power, mabye even discover America or Australia before Columbus?
