So let's say William III's horse doesn't trip on the mole burrow throwing him from his horse in 1702. He doesn't break his collarbone and develop pneumonia in TTL and instead is able to live another 13 years till he's about 65. How would this affect...
-The War of the Spanish Succession? William's death is generally seen as a "bad thing" how would he have done things differently than Anne? Would Marlborough still play a prominent role in TTL perhaps due to William's age? Also, would William III's declining popularity lead to earlier calls for peace?
-Let's posit a more gradual decline in William's health... in TTL he gets the chance to deal fully with his affairs prior to his death. How does he handle the issue of succession in England and Holland?
