WI William III had died before the Glorious Revolution?

If William of Orange had died in 1688 just before the invasion of England (let's say he suffers an accident while riding his horse ;)), what would happen to the Glorious Revolution? Would a rebellion still happen in name of Mary? Could the Dutch still send a force to England, or they wouldn't bother now that William is dead? And could James II still secure the loyalty of the Army or was too late for that?

The invasion is off for sure. I doubt that Mary could have pulled it off on her own. It would also cause upheavel in the Republic.

Opposition could still gather round Mary (or Anne if things get unusual), but in Great Britain, rather than Holland.

But would Mary accept to depose her own father? At least from what I understand the idea of sending support for the Protestants who wanted to depose James II was from William. Without him to impose his wishes, would Mary want to accept the deposition of her own father? How was her relationship with at the time?
