Okay, let's say Denmark in this ATL is much more chaotic and divided in the 10th and 11th centuries. Say that the House of Olof takes more land, and prevents a completely unified Denmark from emerging.

Then fast-forward to 983, and Mistivoj and the Obotrites revolt against Germany. So ITTL the revolt succeeds, and the Germans are driven east of the Elbe.

In the 11th century in OTL, the Wends conducted massive raids and invasions of Denmark. So what if the more united Wends launch a full invasion of the Jutland peninsula? What would happen if the Danes and Norwegians had lost at Hedeby in 1043? With waves of Wendish settlers driving out the Danish population, where would the refugees go?

Let's assume that Magnus the Great dies at Hedeby. So both Denmark and Norway lack a ruler, so prove unable to defeat the Jutish settlers. By 1100 the population of Jutland is mostly Wends, the Danes having fled brutal Wendish (who rape, pillage, loot, and sack like the Vikings they emulated IOTL) and settled in Gotaland, Sweden, and / or Norway. How does history proceed from there?

Also, if the first stuff is implausible, then you can use the 1043 Battle of Hedeby (Danish-Norwegian victory in OTL) as a POD.
