WI: Wallace/Col. Sanders '68

What If Colonel Sanders had accepted George Wallace's VP invitation? Would this affect the 1968 Election (apparently LeMay was a liability, more than an asset) in any way?

Also, what would be KFC's legacy, in the aftermath of the 1968 election?

Wallace wins Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, and maybe South Carolina. Nixon is one electoral vote short and Wallace throws his support to Humphrey, who is elected by the House.
Wallace then challenges Humphrey in the '72 primaries, which will be interesting...
KFC would probably survive, but would be tarnished for years to come. I could see a boycott of KFC for a while. Probably no "KFC black people" stereotype, which is a good thing.

Compulsory KFC lunches at all schools?

That wouldn't be so bad ;)

But I was thinking more along the lines of its cultural impact since its founder ran on a Segregation ticket

Would Humphrey give into Wallace's Demands for segregation etc.?
