I still think we should have stayed out of the Kosovo conflict. Set a bad precedent the Russians have readily and, arguably, irrevocably exploited. . .
The 2+ month bombing against Serbia on behalf of Kosovo was a NATO operation.

Now even still, Russia could still use it as “precedent,” perhaps claiming that they had attempted to get regional participation.

It being a NATO operation is irrelevant to the conflict resulting in a dangerous precedent.

IMHO, even though it did not win the popular or electoral vote, I think John Kerry's campaign in 2004 was more combative, impassioned and overall better than Gore's in 2004.

Gore ran in 2000. I disagree. The Party was with Gore in 2000. John Kerry was popular in 2004 because he was not Bush.
