WI: USSR wins Polish-Soviet War

What if the Soviets take Poland during the Soviet Polish War? Would Hitler still rise to power? If he did would he still try and take Danzig? If not where would he go? West?

Would Hitler still rise to power?
Highly unlikely. Theoretically possible in an infinite universe logic, but any TL with a POD in 1920 that still has Adolf come to power is one I wouldn't normally read any further.

If he did would he still try and take Danzig?
No. For one because Danzig may not even be League of Nations Free City ITTL. More importantly, the USSR would intervene much sooner, latest at the Sudetenland Crisis. The Soviet Union at the time truly wanted to go the Collective Security route, and was rightfully pissed when Chamberlain cut a deal at Munich.

Hell, they might intervene as soon as Hitler puts the KPD in prison, or when the Enabling Act passes, making Hitler's time in office quite short.

The only instance I can even theoretically see where Germany actually conquers something would be if the USSR abandoned any premise of collective security and actively helped German rearmament even sooner than OTL.

When an even bigger and aggressive USSR invades germany in 1933 (or heavily supports some communist uprising),Hitler will find himself on a gigantic pile of wallied support.

More likely London and Paris cut a deal that has the Nazis banned, the KDP re-legalized, a broad front coalition led by SPD-Zentrum left in charge of Germany and a Red Army withdrawal.

Unlikely IMHO. If the Polish Army is destroyed or badly mauled at the Battle of Warsaw, they'll be unable to do anything but stow down the Soviet juggernaut. What might happen would be Poland's neighbors occupying some border areas as a buffer against the Soviets - Romania IIRC had troops in the southernmost part of Poland, and it might well keep them there; Czechoslovakia and Germany could also conceivably try and establish a buffer, maybe as far as Krakow and Poznan. I think the Poles would begrudgingly accept or at least fail to stop it.

Yep. A Bolshevik victory in the Battle of Warsaw changes very much.

Assuming there even is a Sudetenland crisis which resembles the OTL one. If the Red Army conquers Poland, Czechoslovakia may be attacked soon afterwards.

The Bolsheviks intended to conquer the entire country, except maybe some western regions which might have been given to Germany in return for a free hand in the Balkans.

so they would have Pomerania, no Polish Corridor, and Soviets occupy eastern Romania (or all the way south) to satellite Bulgaria? or occupy all the Balkan States?

IMO the Red Army would try to occupy as much of the Balkans as it could before it is decisively halted militarily, or the campaigns in the Balkans start getting so hard that Lenin and friends decide that continuing will be too much trouble. Germany and Italy were large and strong, but I think everything to the east could be seriously threatened. If Lenin offers Germany and Italy influence in the Sudetenland, Austria and the western Balkans in a kind of early Ribbentrop-Molotov pact, would they object to Soviet control of the areas to the east? I doubt it.
