So, according to my Wikipedia research, Agustín Maria Muñoz y de Borbon, 1st Duke of Tarancónwas proposed as the King of Ecuador, with the end goal being to unite Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia into one nation with a capital at Quito. While it did have support, eventually the movement collapsed and then the Prince of the Antilles died.
But, what if the support hadn't faltered and the goal was realized? How long could a Kingdom of Ecuador or a United Kingdom of Ecuador, Perú and Bolivia last?
