From what I've read, the main reason that the first part of the Russian revolution happened is that the Tsar refused to grant rights to the citizenry/establish constitutional monarchy. If those things had happened, would that have prevented the White and then Soviet uprisings? I imagine that the Soviet uprising would still happen, but not the White uprising. Is this plausible? Would the lack of the White uprising make the Soviets fail? What future effects could this have during the world wars?
