Let's say that the Republicans flub up and nominate Bob Taft for President in '52 (if that's not a far enough back POD, we can figure something out here) and Truman decides to seek another term as President, and wins it in 1952. (Before anyone asks, the 22nd Amendment grandfathered Truman in, so he can run for President for one more term; actually, as many terms as he likes, but let's just assume for the purposes of this thread that he only is re-elected in 1952)
Truman returns to the White House with a larger Democratic majority in both chambers, and with the Korean War still on the table. What changes from the OTL 1950s? Does Truman press for Medicare earlier? Is a Taft-Hartley repeal in the works? An Atomic TVA? Civil rights a decade early? How does this effect the development of the Democratic and Republican parties? What would happen in Korea, anyway? Foreign impacts? Cultural changes?
