WI: Tito killed in Drvar raid

Ok, let's say that Germans do know that Tito's HQ is in a cave near Drvar and go there right away and manage to kill him and the majority of his staff. What would be the consequences?

The main problem is, who suceeds Tito as leader of Partisans and KPJ?
With most of Tito`s staff killed, Chetnics will need less German assistance and will be supported by Allies for longer, although i doubt they can install monarchy in Yugoslavia as intended - not with victorious Soviets around.

No, Chetniks will not suceed. Germany will still loose war and Cheniks with them too, but I wonder who could be Tito's replacement?

I mean, Ivan Ribar was president of AVNOJ, but he was not some heawyweight Party member, big part of his staff would be killed, with maybe Đilas surviving, he was in Moscow at the time I think.

Already by late 1943, Chethinks are both eliminated as a meaningful fighting force, and recognized as pro-Axis by Allies.
Partizans will took a lots of time to fill in Tito's shoes with someone capable and acceptable to all Yugo nations.

Indeed. With big part ( or even maybe all top Partisan leaderskih killed in Drvar ), I don't see anyone except Đilas ( and he was in Moscow then ). Below him, all others were republic-level leaders, like say Andrija Hebrang in Croatia.
