WI Timur had died before 1400?

Would the advance of the Turko-Mongol have ended with his death, or would they have continued into Pakistan, Syria and Anatolia as they did in OTL?

If the former, what effect would this have on the future of the Mamluk dynasty in Egypt?

If Timur dies before 1395, there is a chance that the Golden Horde under Tokhtamysh could remain powerful enough to meet the threat of the growing Muscovite state.

The Ottomans take down the last remnants of Byzantium a few years ahead of schedule. From what I've read, they had to rebuild their position in Central and Eastern Anatolia almost from scratch after the Timurids stomped all over them, which resulted in a major delay to their European territorial aspirations. Remove Timur and crew from the equation and the Ottomans are in a much better position.
