WI thier was no Night of Long Knives

Let's say the army doesn't complain about either the SS or SA, and so when the time comes for WW2 to start. Would any of the SA leaders make a difference if they aren't killed like in the OTL? Where do you think Hitler would station most of the SA forces if he didn't execute most of their leaders. So, I guess what I'm trying to say is how would the SA factor into the war as a whole?

From my rough knowledge of the period I'm not sure the war would break out at the same time or if the SA would still be relevant by the time it did even if the Night of the Long Knives didn't happen in 1934. My understanding is that, propaganda or no propaganda, Rohm was indeed a threat to Hitler and was undermining the Nazi project by his actions. Expect the left of the party (Strasser brothers included) to make trouble against this Hitler who is too weak to smack them down.

Röhm essentially wanted the army become part of the SA. Hitler wanted a professional army, so he threw Röhm under the bus.

The SA was strong (3 million members at that time), but that doesn't mean they could've conquered France, or even Poland.

Army wasn't only ones who had problems with SA. Hitler needed support of other circles of power as well. SA was more inclined toward socialism aspect of national socialism. They also wanted "permanent revolution" something Hitler didn't want once he gained power. Plus they were unruly brawlers. Good to have when you are trying to gain power and used as a club against political opponents. However this becomes a problem when you are actually trying to run a country as they couldn't be used as police-like force. Plus a strong paramilitary formation with their own agenda which may not be same as NSDAP leadership was a potential threat later on.

I get the impression that 'the night of the long knives' was the first thing that causes some people to notice just how ruthless Hitler was

During the Weimar Republic, several people were killed when Nazis and Communists fought on the streets. And two prominent politicians were killed by extreme rightwingers (Erzberger, Rathenau).
