So here is my question. I was doing some light reading and came across the Ostrogothic kingdom of Italy and Theodric the Great, who seemed to me to be an interesting fellow. Unfortunately, his legacy was undermined by his heir being his ten year old grandson.

What if his daughter Amalasuntha was born a boy instead? That would have made him around 30-31 years of age at his father's death?

Would this ATL son be a romanophile like his OTL counterpart? What would be the effects if his competency approached that of his father?
