WI Theodosius dies in 380 AD?

In 24 November 380 Emperor Theodosius arrived in Constantinople... Being a firm Christian he deposed and exiled the Arian Archbishop of Constantinople Demophilus and replaced him with Gregory Nazianzenus...This was greatly resented and may even have resulted in an attempt to assassinate the emperor, hadnt the Imperial Guard foiled an attempt plan and arrested many Arian heretics...
WI the Arians had succeded in killing Theodosius in 380? How is that affecting Roman and religious History?

?Would a arian Arch bishop in 380 Constantinople, affect the Arian Vandals when they take Carthage in the 420~430 time frame?

Only if he sought refuge to Vandals and Goths asking them for reinstate... but i doubt if they could help him... besides Theodosius exiled Demophilus far away from Arians... The only thing i am thinking is that if Theodosius was assassinated and a non-Arian Emperor was elected Goths might have invaded... (Goths were allied to Theodosius and with another Emperor in Constantinople might have considered the alliance null and void)... Vandals were kinda far away to care if i remember correctly...
