WI: Themistocles is Killed at Marathon?

This timeline assumes that the Greeks still win at Marathon.

What effect would this have had on Greek history had Themistocles been killed at Marathon in 490 BC? He is well known for leading the Athenians against the Persians at the Battle of Salamis as well, essentially destroying the Persian fleet. Would a battle like Salamis still happen? Would the Persians win the Greco-Persian Wars?

I'm not 100% familiar with the pelloponesian war, but obviously athens would have more capable admirals in their deck. Barring that, even, we have eurybiades, although he certainly wasn't comparable to themistocles.
Imagine it now, a spartan commanding the greek navy smashing the persians at sea..

Good question as Themistocles in OTL was the main force behind the interpretation of the prophecy as a wictory in a naval battle and somthe main reason behind the choice of Salamina as battlefield

As an admiral, Themistocles was replaceable, but as a leader, he is the one who convinced the Greek to hold it together after the Thermopylae, and as mentioned above, to engage the Persian fleet at Salamine. Without the "Subtle Serpent of Greece", the Greek coalition may have thought everything was lost and scattered. Most cities would have then tried to negotiate their surrender terms with Xerxes, the Spartan stood alone and we would be living in the world of Medizos
