WI: The War of 1811

The West Florida Republic was pretty much a proto-Texas. A bunch of Americans went into Spanish Florida with the intention of establishing an independent Republic. Now, OTL they only got so far. They managed to get to Mobile but ran out of supplies. Had they some more supplies (shipments of questionable origin?) they probably could have captured Mobile and Pensacola (their target after Mobile).

Let's suppose the that the rebels succeed in taking Mobile and Pensacola. Madison proceeds to act and annex West Florida (something he wanted to do OTL). In 1811 the US just straight-up occupied West Florida west of Pensacola.

What if the US and Spain had gone to war in 1811 over Florida? It's like Spain was in a position to do much, being occupied by Napoleon at the time. Would the US proceed to extend the war to Texas, Cuba, Puerto Rico, and Spana Boba or perhaps go as far as to intervene in Mexico in support of the rebels there?

This is before the war of th 6th Coalition, which could mean some crazy stuff. Napoleon would likely fund the americans for distracting the spanish, but would britain get involved? This could end the peninsular wars before Napoleon goes into russia, which might pad his army enough for a victory in Russia. Or at least a less devastating defeat. But i'm unsure how that would go.
