WI the USA loses the Battle of Tippecanoe

I'd say more recriminations and a poorer American position in the war of 1812.

The US I recall did suffer a military defeat at the hands of the Indians in the 1790s so it wouldn't be as big of a shock as it was in 1876.

This defeat would probably lead to a greater impetus for a centralized government and standing army. After all militia and hastily assembled volunteers aren't enough to beat the Indians state financed professional armies can.

Tecumseh wasn't present at the battle and his confederacy wasn't that badly affected by the sack of its capital.

Tippecanoe's biggest impact was its utter discrediting of Prophet Tenskwatawa, who was supposed to use his magic powers to destroy the Americans and totally failed.

Depending on how big a win it might couple with the New Madrid Earthquakes and give Tecumseh a new gust of support from undecided tribes. It might give the British more faith in the movement as well, maybe they put more funding into Tecumseh's rebellion. All the sudden the prospect of a pan-tribal buffer state between Canada and the US might become very feasible.
