WI The Protestant Reformation Never Happened?

Catholicism would still be the ONLY Christian denomination. I think a "Catholic Empire" would have been forged in Europe, but it would not have extended into Asia due to Islam. This, in turn, would have led to an all-out religious war between Catholics and Muslims. Other suggestions/ideas are welcomed.

No way.. Europe will never be united in that fashion. besides, Catholicism will just break along a different line, later. Nothing lasts forever.

Some form of Reformation was inevitable, as it was much a product of printing and literacy. Stop Martin Luther and somebody else will split first.

I had a thread on this last month, except it was were the Reformation was crushed by the likes of France or Spain.

Well the only three major Orthodox countries in Europe were the Byzatine Empire, Russia and Poland(which was pretty evenly split).

The Byzatines were carved up by the Turks, so people overlook Greece. The Russians eventually went communist and as I said, Poland was pretty half and half.

So that's at least part of why people over look it. That and when people think of "anti-Catholics" they think of England or Germany.
