WI the promised land was to the west. A Jewish homeland in the Atlas Mountains.

What if Moses lead te Jew west towards present day Tunis and the Altas mountains and started a Jewish state their. Since the exodus was in the 1440s bc this is way before the Phoenicians founded Carthage. So what would be the effect on the med if the Jews survived and thrived ad created a powerful nation a la Carthage.

It's disuited if there was even a exodus and even if it real there would have been small group so they would likely joined the local tribes in Tunis

The exodus is myth, Jewish people being native to the area they lived in. I guess you could have them migrate to the West at some point, or even establish colonies along the med like the Greeks. You would need to go through some historical somersaults to do so, though.

let's assume somersaults can be done to make this happen. ASB assistance makes the "Jewish" homeland Morrocco and western Algeria (that's as far as the Atlas go).

This state if it takes the role of Carthage gets crushed by Rome. If there still is the Carthaginian Republic as a separate Phoenician, pagan state, maybe the Jewish homeland has a career of being a Roman ally against Carthage (like OTL Numidia), until Carthage falls, and then ultimately itself falls under Rome's boot.

What, Rome hasn't been butterflied away? Well it's the ASBs prerogative to protect Rome with butterfly nets.
