What happens if Peter the Hermit and his men manage to wait outside Constantinople for the proper troops of the First Crusade to turn up, instead of getting themselves mainly killed at Civitot and Xerigordon?

I think a lot of them die anyhow, on the march to the Levant. Not sure how much the primary crusade wants to be associated with them, and either way they are still going to be a tempting target for the Turks.
That said, one wonders what they would do after the conclusion of the Crusade (assuming that any significant number survive, of course).
