WI: The Ottoman Empire Conquers Austria

What it says above. How could the Ottaman Empire successfully conquer Austria in the mid 17th Century? First thing that comes to mind is if the League of the Rhine didnt form, or was weaker and if other powers such as Russia or Poland-Lithuania stayed out or were less successful

Second point: What next? I'm not sure, even if the Ottomans somehow pulled this off, if they could go any further. Would this just lead to reconquest as we saw in OTL Hungary?

BONUS POINTS: Have the Ottomans keep both Austria and Hungary for as long as possible

They would need to put much more effort into turning the Danube into a major route to the Hungarian and Austrian bordermarches, for starters; otherwise, the usual logistic and administrative difficulties would cripple any effort to control the region just as IOTL.

I'm not trying to be nitpicky but could you elaborate on the specific years that you are inquiring about? Or would it be after 1658, when the League of the Rhine formed?

Just an idea that I had...

From roughly 1656 to approximately 1683 (and sometimes listed until 1703) the Ottoman Empire was in what has been called the Köprülü era. During this time, there were individuals of this family that were in the position of grand vizier and many reforms were enacted. It wasn't until after 1683 that certain events such as the breaking of the Köprülü dominance of the grand vizier position and the loss of Hungary resulted in some changes.

These changes include tax reforms and other economic restructuring, which resulted in a surplus. IMO, if the economic restructuring were to occur prior to the War of the Holy League, and possibly during the middle of the century, then the Ottomans may be in a better position to build up along the Danube (which has been previously mentioned). This build up should put them in a better position for war against the Habsburgs.
