WI:The OTL mother of Canute the Great marries Robert II of France

What if Swietoslawa of Poland, the mother of Canute the Great married Robert II of France, if I am not mistaken they were contemporaries and their ages were quite close if they were married to each other would their son (let's call him Henry I) be a great King of France like Canute did.

Well I'm not sure, but if I can predict, a Henry I that rules in a similar manner to Cnut the Great could help to centralize the French Kingdom a lot sooner. OTL's Henry I's royal demense shrunk to its smallest size during his reign, and I presume TTL's version would probably not let that happen.

If events happen the same as per OTL's Henry's reign, we might see Burgundy and Normandy be a part of the royal demense, which means no Norman England...

Still all of this is just my guess work, and nothing is certain.

Do you think France on his reign can ally with Anglo-Saxon England presumably under Edward the Confessor and later Harold against the Normans and the Danes on his reign seeing that the Normans were quite a threat to England and confiscate Normandy.

Not really no...I don't see a reason why Henry would interfere with the affairs of England when there are various nobles in France who rival his power...On the flip side, if Henry doesn't rescue William of Normandy when his OTL version did, it does remove one potential threat to the Godwinson's rule over England, thus only having to deal with the Norwegians...
