Through old patents someone found an old unreleased peripheral for the N64. Supposedly it had infra-red remote controllers, it could also use an internet service that sounds pretty much like Randnet (allowing you to connect to the internet, and download games that would be stored on an internal hard drive).

What if it was released?
Personally, I think it might help the N64 a bit if it was released early enough. They were really going far out with their plans for RandNet.
If it was successful, could it get Nintendo to bring the 64DD (the N64's magnetic disk drive) to North America?
