WI: The Miracle Fails?

The Miracle of the House of Brandenburg, I mean. Prussia was about to be utterly crushed by the combined Austrian-Russian forces when the sudden death of Elizabeth and the accession of Peter III caused Russia to withdraw from the war, subsequently leading the Anglo-Prussian side to victory.

Suppose, instead, that Elizabeth had never had her fatal illness, or had survived for several more weeks. Fredrick II is killed in battle, Berlin is occupied. What happens afterward?

He doesn't even need to fall in battle, IIRC he was seriously contemplating suicide if things hadn't suddenly vastly improved. Dying in battle leading your armies is at least somewhat glorious, getting depressed and taking poison would put a serious dent in both his own reputation and the dynasties prestige.

The subsequent Treaty would favor the French side, but if the British diplomats play their cards right they should be able to drive a wedge between the Allies. ;)
