WI: The Long Reign of Queen Jane

What would it have taken for Queen Jane (aka Lady Jane Grey) to have remained Queen for a few decades, instead of several days?

What effect would Queen Jane I have had on history?

Queen Jane.

You would have to get rid of Mary. She would have to be forced into exile or executed. I'm not sure of Elizabeth's status at this point.

Queen Jane.

She was basically a mere pawn of radical Protestant factions at court. If Mary were eliminated, that leaves Elizabeth. She still has extensive support, at this period, I'm sure. I don't recall all of the details, but this could possibly lead to civil war.

Suppose that both Elizabeth and Mary had died. Lets say a childhood illness for one, and an 'illness' that may or may not have been poison for the other.

Mary dies and it turns out that the "Bixby boy" has been pretending to be Elizabeth for over a decade, as the real Elizabeth Tudor had died in 1541 but the death covered up.
