WI: The Japanese Emperor moved from Kyoto to Yamaguchi?

During the Sengoku Era of Japan, when Ōuchi clan were at the height of their power, the Daimyo Ōuchi Yoshitaka became quite the patron of the Imperial Court, in the arts, under the reigning Japanese Emperor Go-Nara. It was then Yoshitaka embarked on a daring plan to relocate Imperial Court and Emperor Go-Nara from Kyoto to Yamaguchi. Yoshitaka started moving High-ranking courtiers and performers of imperial rites moved to Yamaguchi, and at the end of the eighth month of 1551, nearly the whole court, save for the emperor himself and the palace ladies, was in Yamaguchi.

However, Retainers of the Ōuchi clan hated this development, and saw this as a "weakness", and this would to the Tainei-ji incident, organized by Sue Harukata, lead a coup against Ōuchi Yoshitaka and massacre of the Imperial courtiers in Yamaguchi. This was disastrous for the Imperial Court that stayed in Kyoto, cut off Chinese-Japanese Trade for the time, and would spell the downfall of the Ōuchi clan and the rise of the Mōri clan.

So, what if Ōuchi Yoshitaka lived and successfully implemented his plans and moved the Japanese Emperor and the entire Imperial Court from Kyoto to Yamaguchi? How would this moving of the capital effect the history of Japan?
