WI the Iberian pennisula remains Muslim-dominated?

I'd like to know what would happen if either the Caliphate of Córdoba survives or one of its successor taifas, e.g. Granada, would remain the most dominant force on the Iberian pennisula. Given due to the scientific advancements of the Muslims, how would technology look like today and how would the tollerance for the Islam in Europe be?

Depends on what kind of surviving Islamic state we talk about here: do you think about a surviving very small state (ie, Granada) in the south (in other words, the reconquista is never finished), or a big one (ie, the reconquista never really started in the first place).
