WI: The Hindenburg Explodes over New York

This is a fairly simple What if inspired by a newsreel I watched today.

Approximately four hours before the explosion that destroyed it, the LZ129 Hindenburg was sailing over New York. The zeppelin had traveled for over 60 hours and to entertain its passengers decided to take a leisurely detour to show off the city's most famous sites.

What if, while flying over the city, the Hindenburg explodes?

We would have to go with why it would explode. Aside from the sabotage theory, the other possible cause was the sharp turn the Zeppelin took to get to the stationing mast, which cause cables to snap and rip open the gas cells.

Would it be possible that while flying over the city Hugo Eckener makes a sharp turn while over the downtown to avoid a building, resulting in a similar situation? If not, we can always go with the sabotage route.
