WI: The Dutch Keep Pomeroon, Berbice, Essequibo, Demerara, and, Cayenne

In OTL, the Dutch settled a number of colonies in the Guianas. Pomeroon, Essequibo, Demerara and Berbice eventually fell to the British who combined them into what is now Guyana. Cayenne eventually fell to the French. The Dutch were left with Suriname. But, what if the Dutch had managed to hold on to the other five colonies in addition to Suriname? I'm sure eventually they would all be consolidated in to a united Dutch Guiana colony. How do you think it would have faired?

Surinam would be bigger (and probably named Guyana) and Venezuela will own a large part of what is now western Guyana. Maybe venezuela will go to war with the Netherlands/Surinam and annex as much of western Surinam as they can get away with.

I'd wonder about what their military would look like that could defend that. Maybe a treaty amongst remaining tribes and maroons could be contracted but otherwise I would't really know just how they could succeed in what you're asking. Maybe with a significantly larger Jewish population of mostly merchants and plantation owners could provide a greater amount of resources.

I'd imagine that there is a chance that United Guiana remains a part of the Netherlands which would allow them to prevent a Venezuelan invasion to some degree though the Netherlands might opt to cede some western territory to Venezuela in an attempt at peacekeeping. We would probably still see a high diverse population of Europeans, Natives, descendants of slaves, and descendants of Indonesians brought to work on plantations once slavery is abolished.
