WI the coup attempt of 1975 in Greece was successful?

Greece was scheduled to enter EU somewhere around 1965-1970 but the political anomaly and the subsequent coup postponed her entrance plus Greece was even ejected from European Council in 1970...

I don't think a military government in Greece would survive the 90s, on the contrary I think that after the fall of communism greek dictatorship would pretty much be doomed. Greece would then end up in the same category as the East European states, and probably join the Union the same time as them.

I think without Greek membership a some of the East states wouldn't have become members. It was hard to argue against some of them, when a society like Greece was part of EU. I personal think that Greece, Romania, Bulgaria, Poland and Slovakia would have been kept out of the first round. Afterward I see Poland and Slovakia become members in 2007, while the Greece, Romania and Bulgaria would have been kept out for years, and they would speak/write about anti-Othodoxs bigotry.
