The only one of their basic demands that hasn't become law was for partliamentary elections to be held on an annual basis, which I think most people today would agree is impractical.

I came to this thread to pretty much say this.
I've made this argument before, but I agree it's a bit of a copout. The fact that they won in 1945 doesn't mean a Britain where they'd won in 1835 wouldn't be interesting to explore.
