For a good portion of the 20th century, Decca Records' British and American wings were separate companies - as a result, whilst American Decca prospered, British Decca began to stagnate and was eventually purchased by PolyGram. What if, instead, both American Decca and British Decca were part of the same company? Would the same innovations (such as the LP and stereo sound) that Decca extensively used in OTL be invented in TTL? Would the composition of artists change?
