WI: The Black Pharaoh's aren't thrown out of Egypt

POD, what if Pharoah Taharqa of the Kushite Empire who was the last of the 25th Dynasty who ruled both the territory in OTL Egypt and Sudan, had resisted involving himself in the affairs of Palestine and had been more of a trade focused ruler. Instead of working on inciting the Assyrian Empire, Taraqha works on consolidating his rule and opening up trade with the Greeks to his north, the Phoenicians to his west and the Axumites to the South?

How would the world be affected if the 25th dynasty had managed to outlast the all consuming wrath of the Assyrians?

Egypt

Eventually there probably would have been a national reaction against the Nubians. This would most likely originate in the north. A possible result could be the division of the country into rival northern and southern kingdoms, with the Nubians dominating in the south and the Egyptians in the north. Eventually the country would re-unite under the leadership of one of the kingdoms.

Hmm, would an extended 25th dynasty try to establish the same relationships with the greeks like the 26th did?
