May 1941, OTL, on May 26, 1941, the German battleship Bismarck, and the
German battlecruiser Prinz Eugen, were on their way to the Atlantic to do some commerce raiding. We know what happened. The Bismarck sent the Prinz Eugen on alone and was seriously damaged by British torpedoes from
Fairey Swordfish torpedo bombers. The debate is whether the Bismarck was
sunk by the Swordfish, or by her crew, to keep her from falling into enemy,
(British), hands. This isn't about that. Now suppose that after the sinking of
the HMS Hood by the Bismarck, the British battleship King George V, opened
up on the Bismarck with her 14" guns. How would the crew of Hitler's pride
and joy, (the Bismarck), react?
