Why would the Saxons prefer to attack the Franks and not the Britons?
Because ITTL the Franks are in disarray right next door, while the Britions are a 500 mile boat ride away.
 
Agree... Could Syagrius after defeating Franks force the Saxons to enter to an alliance with him and form a new (multinational) Western Empire? and attack Visigoths?

That's a good point. I thought people were suggesting the Saxons already in Britain would leave the island en masse to go harry the Franks.
 
Europe would look way much different if it was flooded by Saxons and Romans instead of Franks... No Charlemagne, No unified Europe and Popes would still be under influence of Byzantine Emperor (or Lombards perhaps) instead of Franks...
