WI: Supreme Court dominated by Democratic Appointees?

In our modern times, a string of Republican Presidents have seen to it that many of the appointees to the Supreme Court were Republican appointed Justices, creating a steadily more conservative Supreme Court. But what if things were different?

What if, after the Warren Court or Burger court (I can't recall which), the Supreme Court were, at least up to 2000, dominated by justices appointed by Democratic Presidents? What decisions would differ?

I know you're looking for effects, but if you need a PoD -- just have Ford win in 76, followed by a three Democratic terms; then whoever gets 89-92 has three seats to fill instead of two (say Byron White* retires early).

And voila -- by 2000, instead of just two Democratic appointees on the court, you have just three Republican appointees (Rehquist, Stevens, and someone else).
