Dr. Sun Yat-Sen is today seen as the father of modern China (in the case of both the PRC and ROC). OTL, his death in 1925 lead to the collapse of the coalition between the communists and the nationalists, which would descend into a civil war that wouldn't end until the communist victory of 1949.
Now his death was brought on by liver cancer (which is mainly caused by hepatitis B/C in China). With a POD where he avoids developing cancer, what can his United KMT backed by the COMMITERN (OTL at his death) do in terms of stabilizing China? How does this affect Soviet power, Japanese policies, and overall Asian geopolitics? Can China be even more powerful than it is OTL?
