WI Spain doesn't enter the Seven Years War?

Despite being a Bourbon, Ferdinand VI of Spain spent his reign trying to keep a neutrality between France and Britain, even during the beggining of the Seven Years War. However, he died chidless in 1759, and his brother Charles became the new Spanish king. Charles didn't have the same neutrality ideal as his brother, and in 1761 he signed the Third Family Compact with Louis XV of France against the British and their allies.

But WI Ferdinand VI had a son from his wife Barbara of Portugal, denying the Spanish throne to Charles? Assuming this son (let's call him Philip, in honour to Ferdinand's father) is born around 1735 and is deeply influenced by the neutrality ideas of his father. When Philip VI becomes king in 1759 he doesn't ally with France. So, what would be the effects of a neutral Spain during the Seven Years War? And, for those who understand about the internal policies of Spain during this period, what could change in Spain if Charles III isn't the monarch?

I wonder if this really may mean bad things for the French-Canadians in this world. There's now suddenly a still-French Louisiana about, and which may very well mean it's tempting to shuttle off the Canadians off to New Orleans and St. Louis.

As for Spain, any illusion of power isn't shattered by the capture of Havana and Manila. This may mean that Britain is slightly more anxious to tiptoe around Spain in any future conflict-anymore than it did in OTL already, anyways.

OTL Britain had a plan to raise several thousand Colonists to take New Orleans in 1762. However due to problems taking Havana, these forces were sent to Cuba as reinforcements.

ITTL with no attack on Cuba, these forces would be available to attack N.O., and I have My POD to get a British Louisiana, I asked about several months ago .

That's interesting, a British Louisiana while Florida remains Spanish (at least isn't temporarily occupied by the British as IOTL). If the British take Louisiana, would they demand all French Canada as IOTL or would allow the French to hold some territories there? And if both Louisiana and Canada become British, how could it affect the process that led to US independence?
