WI Some changes to post WW2 negotiations

So after the war, Stalin wanted each of the "sovereign" republics to have representation in the UN. Say he gets what he wants, but in return every US State also gets a representative to the UN. Well, maybe just the largest states get representatives, not all of them. Say California, Texas, New York, and whatever the other largest states were at the time.

How does this effect the world?

No way are any US states getting seperate representation in the UN...

While I can (sort of) understand why Stalin wanted it (more influence for the USSR), the Soviets should have got exactly one seat... same as every other member country...

Otherwise, why not let the UK have a bunch of seperate seats? ;)

Actually in OTL the Soviet union had three seats on the UN, the Ukrainian and Belorussian republics both had seats at the UN, the US did not because they didn't know which two states to use.

Well, Ukraine and Belarus DID get seperate representation in the UN in real life.

But this is just a WI, so why not let the UK get seperate seats as well?

So, the states, soviet republics, and the constituent kingdoms all get representation, what happens?
