Snap Judgement is an American game show hosted by Ed McMahon, announced by Johnny Olson and produced by Mark Goodson-Bill Todman Productions and aired on NBC's daytime lineup from 1967 to 1969.

In the October of 1977, NBC announced that they pulled the plug on repeats of Sanford and Son from its daytime lineup and a revival of Snap Judgement, from Goodson-Todman (which marked its first time a legendary game show company came back on NBC after The Match Game got cancelled in 1969) with Jim McKrell (formerly of Celebrity Sweepstakes) as host and Gene Wood as new announcer, filling out the 10:00 a.m. half hour time period. This come onto effect on December 6, 1977, the same day The Gong Show moved back to its 12:30 a.m. slot and For Richer For Poorer premiered.

The revival of Snap Judgement premiered on December 6, 1977 with much fanfare and a new score package by Score Productions. The Snap Judgement revival was scheduled against CBS' Tattletales. The revival had the same charm as other shows like Wheel of Fortune, Knockout and To Say the Least. Unlike the original, the revival of Snap Judgement was taped at NBC Studios in Burbank, California.

In the February of 1978, it was announced that Snap Judgement, Knockout and To Say the Least is underway cancellation. NBC however they wanted the three shows to be replaced were Card Sharks, The New High Rollers and a new version of Funny You Should Ask!! (which ABC previously aired from 1968-1969). NBC also approached that Bob Hilton (who was hosting The New Truth or Consequences at the time) was signed on to host a revival of Funny You Should Ask!!, which came from Heatter-Quigley, Incorporated, filling the noon slot. It even came to effect on April 24, 1978.

Months after Snap Judgement's revival cancellation, all of the music packages were later reused on Password Plus, albeit in a lower key than on Snap Judgement.

Fully ITTL, IOTL the revivals of Funny You Should Ask!! and Snap Judgement didn't happen, as Goodson-Todman still never make any NBC shows until the premiere of Card Sharks.
