Thats right. Stolen straight from the pages of What If?

Well, What If? (TM) Elizabeth the Winter Queen ascends to the throne after her brother, Charles I is killed?

Thats the year in the book, I believe.

Thats also before the ECW, which was the main premise of WI.

This guy would presumably become King in 1850, unless Parliament passes over him (granted title as elector of Palatinate in 1848), at which point you get this one.

I think Rupert is the most compelling choice there. Both sons were disliked by the King and his advisors for their constant attempts to gain English intervention (and percieved Parliamentarian leanings). Meanwhile, they were both well liked by Parliament (Rupert was more popular with them, I believe)

It must be a typo or something. Look at the DoB and DoD for John Louis and Rupert on the wiki' articles you linked.
