On December 10, 1815, there was an attempt on Simon Bolivar's life in Jamaica that ended up mistakenly killing a guest in his hammock. What if the Liberator had died that day, as intended?
The wars of independence in Spanish America would have continued anyway. Without his personal touch, Gran Colombia may have managed to stay united through a federalist constitution.
Beyond Gran Colombia frontiers the only directly affected country would have been Peru which may or may not have kept the port of Guayaquil (which was somewhat taken by Bolivar from San Martin in their meeting at said port) and Alto Peru (future Bolivia named in Bolivar's name by one of his generals).
