The PRC controlled Siberia, any significant butterflies except of course a weakened Russia/USSR and Japan invades it during its general invasion of China.

Eh, a couple of things:

1. The PRC wasn't founded until 1949, and at the point of the Japanese invasion was quite weak compared to the Nationalists and the local warlords.

2. Have you a specific POD on how China obtained the Trans-Amur? (which is what I think you're referring to, as 'Siberia' is a pretty general term...)

I am leaving the POD up to others.

The proper way to post this then would be as a challenge, perhaps something like "With a POD no earlier then 1750 (as an example) bring Siberia west of the Lena River inder Chinese control/rule." In reality, it would be a big enough challenge just to have China hold onto the entire Heilong Jiang (Amur River) basin past the mid-1800s.

If China colonize Siberia before 1900 by the power of the wank, the PRC might be butterflied away. Even the RoC might be butterflied, since a larger China would change stuff.

I think China could keep Outer Manchuria to the present, that is if the Manchus were stronger and put the Capital in Manchuria, I think it is also possible for them to expand but that depends on the strength and prestige of their army.:D

A Manchuria centered empire would have problems controlling southern China though.
