WI: Selim I dies shortly after taking throne?

After defeating and executing his brothers in 1513, Sehzade Selim ascended the Ottoman throne. What would have happened had he died (of illness, possible poisoning, etc.) shortly after ascending the throne? Would his nephew Murat have had a shot in this case? I apologize for any knowledge gaps, I'm a novice on the Ottomans.

Murad is in Persia at this time, right? Would this give the Safavids influence over the Ottomans? Of course, the real question is, do we still get the conquest of Egypt and the invasions of Europe over the next couple of decades or so?

According to Wikipedia, Ismail I planned to install Murad as Ottoman sultan, but leave only Constantinople and the surrounding region to him, giving the rest to the Qizilbash.

Suleiman is about 19-20, so something would have to be done about him.

Suleiman I could still take the throne and defeat the Persians. I mean Mehmed the Conqueror took the throne at 14 in his first time did he not? Even if he did give the throne back to his father Mehmed II conquered Constantinople when he was 21. With Suleiman being one of the greatest sultans and having his childhood best friend Pargalı Ibrahim to help him (he was a quite good Grand-Vizier iirc even if he later fell out of favor and was executed).

Suleiman is there to take the throne. The Safavids and Mamluks are still toast because of their outdated military in comparison to the Ottoman Armies. Murad is a dead weight. During Selims reign he was no real danger, he wouldn't be for Suleiman as well.

Edit: This might delay or prevent the conquest of Hungary. Suleiman has to deak with Egypt and Persia first. Just enough time for Louis to get a heir and secure Hungary from becoming Habsburg dominion. Better for Suleiman as well.

Safavids have no military power to influence the Ottomans. The existence of Murad is another war justification against the Safavids. Nothing more.

Safavid Military at the time was no match against the Ottomans. The death of Selim will not change that. Murad will not be sultan. Even Suleimans son Mahmud (born: 1512) will have more preference than Murad at the court.

Pargali died of his pride. I really hate to see he died in just 16 years after Suleimans succesion. God knows what he could accomplish in the 40s and maybe 50s. The best Grandvizier after Köprülü Mehmed.

In an earlier rule for Suleiman he would still be his main man. Maybe an architect in the conquest of Egypt.
