This has always been an interesting WI timeline in which we have all of the Home Nations at the 1966 World Cup which I'm surprised hasn't really been looked into that much. The thing is that it isn't far fetched that they might've all qualified as Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland all came quite close, N. Ireland just missed out on a single point while Wales and Scotland lost some vital games that ultimately cost them.
But with a little bit of luck, could we have had them all playing in England that summer and would one of them, if not all, got to the knockout stage and maybe one of them face of England in the final? How would their participation change things at this WC?
